Flametree Bar-B-Q

Bar-B-Q is not usually considered a food associated with romance but, it’s not the food as much the atmosphere that makes this eatery romantic. Flametree per se is an outdoor stand, you order your food from the counter and it is given to you on the standard plastic tray. It’s when you go to sit that you find the romance of the place.

The seating area is a heavily wooded, secluded area along the river-front overlooking the shores of Asia. In the center of the seating area is a gurgling waterfall and reflecting pool with delightful statues of wildlife. It has an atmosphere that is both Asian and African. Also strewn throughout the seating area are shelters whose supports, ceilings and railings are virtually alive with stylized wildlife carvings. You will also find a few tables secluded in the shelter of palms and other lush foliage, perfect for gazing at each other romantically.

The food is standard bar-b-q fare, chicken, beef and ribs served with two specialty sauces. One of the sauces is tomato based and sweet, the other mustard based and tangy.
